How This Image to PDF Converter Works
Each image you add is redrawn on a hidden canvas in your browser, resized, and compressed to JPEG according to the quality preset. It is then placed on an A4 or US Letter PDF page with the pdf-lib library. PDF files you add are merged as they are, page by page, without being recompressed.

Tips for Turning Documents into a PDF
Check the required paper size first. Applications and offices in the US and Canada usually expect US Letter; most other countries use A4.
Photograph documents flat and in good light. Avoid shadows and glare so the text stays readable after compression.
Arrange the pages before downloading. Make sure the documents are in the right order (for example ID, certificate, photo) before you press the create button.
Use "High" quality for small print. That keeps fine text sharp when someone reviews the file.

No. Everything, from compressing the images to merging them into a PDF, runs in your browser with JavaScript. The files you add are never sent to SoftwareHub or anyone else.
JPG and PNG. Each image is automatically resized and compressed to JPEG according to the quality preset you pick, so the resulting PDF does not get too large.
US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) is the standard paper size in the United States, Canada and a few other countries. Almost everywhere else uses A4 (210 x 297 mm). If a form or office asks for a specific size, pick that one; otherwise choose the size your printer uses.
Yes. On a large screen, drag and drop the files in the list to reorder them. On a phone, use the up and down arrow buttons on each file, because not every mobile browser fully supports dragging with a finger.
Yes, and you can mix them. Add images and PDF files to the same list, arrange them, and every page is merged into one PDF in the order of the list.
Each image is resized to a maximum dimension and compressed with the JPEG quality of the chosen preset, similar to how document scanner apps work. Choose the "High" preset for the best quality with a larger file.
No. Encrypted or password-protected PDF files cannot be read by this tool and are skipped with a notice. Remove the protection first, then merge them.
There is no fixed limit, but because everything runs on your device, adding dozens of large files at once can be slow on a phone with little memory. For best results, merge in a few smaller batches.
